The advanced esthetics portion focuses on skin analysis, advanced treatments, professional techniques, client care and industry knowledge.
The medical office administration portion introduces students to the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of a healthcare office, including patient registration, scheduling, communication, documentation, medical terminology, billing and coding, and office management.
The medical office administration training also includes preparation for a national certification through the National Healthcare Association (NHA).

What You Can Learn
Throughout the program, students can develop both technical and professional skills.
On the skin care side, students learn to analyze skin, select appropriate services, perform facial and advanced skin care treatments, and apply technical knowledge when making decisions about client services.
On the medical office administration side, students learn about working as part of a healthcare team, interacting professionally with patients and providers, maintaining patient information, scheduling appointments, understanding medical terminology, and supporting the administrative functions of a medical office.
Hands-On, Career-Focused Education
At Artistic Nails & Beauty Academy, education goes beyond lectures. Students learn through a combination of classroom instruction, demonstrations, interactive participation, practical assignments, projects and other learning activities.
The program uses equipment, implements and products comparable to those used in the industry, helping students connect what they learn in the classroom with practical skills.
Program Schedule
The Medical Office Administration with Skin Care Speciality program consists of 750 clock hours.
The current full-time schedule is approximately 5 months or 23 weeks.
Class Schedule
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Admission Requirements
Students enrolling in this program must be at least 16 years old and provide proof of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Students must also have completed one of the following Artistic Nails & Beauty Academy programs before enrolling:
- Facial Specialist
- Full Specialist
- Spa Therapy
- Cosmetology
